This handwritten recipe card was found in a large collection, date unknown. It’s a little different since the sauce is a mixture of chili sauce and grape jelly, interesting! I’ve typed it below along with a scanned copy (front side only).
Mini Meat Balls
Makes 5 dozen
1 lb ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/3 c minced onion
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 TBLsp Parsley
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c shortening
1 bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
1 jar (10 oz) grape jelly
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg and next 4 ingredients. Gently shape into 1-inch balls.
Melt shortening in large skillet, brown meatballs. Remove meatballs from skillet. Pour off fat. Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet until jelly is melted. Add meatballs & stir until thoroughly coated.
Simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Makes 5 dozen appetizers, Very Good!

ALL-AMERICAN BAR-B-Q RIBS
6 pounds chuck ribs (back ribs), cut in slabs of 3 to 4 ribs each*
Prepare Bar-B-Q Sauce. Generously brush ribs with sauce; reserve remaining sauce. Cover and let ribs stand 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature. Place ribs on a grill rack 4 to 6 inches above medium hot charcoal or medium high heat. Cover grill; open vents slightly. After 30 minutes, turn ribs; brush with reserved sauce. Cover and cook 30 minutes longer or until well browned, brushing once more with sauce. Reheat remaining sauce; serve separately.
Makes 6 servings.
*Pork spareribs may be substituted
ALL-AMERICAN BAR-B-Q SAUCE
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cans (15-ounce) tomato sauce
1/3 cup firmly packed C&H Dark Brown Sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon each salt, ground cumin, and chili powder
1/2 teaspoon each dry mustard and celery salt
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and simmer gently 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 1 quart.

Porcupine Balls
2 1/2 qt. casserole w/tight cover
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 egg slightly beaten
2 t. grated onion
1/4 c. tomato juice
1 t. salt
Lightly grease casserole then combine & mix lightly the beef, rice, etc. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls & put in casserole
2 t oleo
1/4 c. minced onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c gr. pepper
1 – 10 1/2 oz. can tomato soup
3/4 c. water
2 T lemon juice
2 T br. sugar
1 t. dry mustard
1/2 t salt
1 t. Worcestershire
Heat oleo in skillet; add onion, celery & gr. pepper. Cook, stirring frequently until celery is limp. Remove from heat & add soup, water & seasonings, stirring constantly. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover & bake at 350° 1 1/2 hr.

Baked Chicken
3# chicken – cooked
Skin & bone chicken. Put pieces in long baking dish
Blend:
2 cans cr. of chicken soup
1 c. of sour cream
Pour over cooked chicken.
Cover with crushed crackers.
Cut up 1 stick margarine on top of crumbs.
Bake 20 mi. or more until bubbly & brown.

Tuna Loaf Augratin
1 can (8 oz) drained & flaked tuna
1/2 c. grated American cheese
1 1/2 c. milk
2 c. cooked rice
2 eggs
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Beat eggs lightly in a large bowl then stir in all other ingredients except the cheese.
Put into greased 6 cup baking dish, then top with cheese.
Bake in 325° oven 45 to 50 min. till set in center.

Take a round Sandwich Bun, open and place a slice of Pineapple, then a slice of American Cheese, and a heaping amount of chip Chop Ham. Cover and wrap in aluminum foil. Place in oven at 350° for approximately 20 minutes. Serve hot, for a real delicious Sandwich treat.

Honey Ham Tortilla Rolls
1 can (4 1/4 ounces) UNDERWOOD Honey Ham Spread
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
1 teaspoon honey
4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
For delicious dipping, mix 6 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1/4 cup mustard and 2 tablespoons honey in a small bowl.

Noodle Ring
3/4 lb. noodles (3 cups uncooked)
3 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp. butter, melted
Cook noodles until tender (about 15 min.) in 3 qts. boiling water to which 1 tbsp. salt has been added. Drain. Beat eggs until light, add remaining ingredients, and noodles. Place in well greased 10-inch ring mold, set in pan of hot water. Bake 45 min. in a mod. oven (350°).
