My mother taught me how to make this simple but very tasty frosting some 50 years ago. Very light texture and handy if you don’t have butter on hand.

My mom used to make a frosting that had pudding and Crisco. I have looked everywhere for it and can not find it.

You made my day. This is my husband’s favorite pudding frosting recipe from his childhood. I had lost recipe that his Mom gave me many many years ago. I can’t believe I found it, and just in time for his birthday celebration. Thank you!
