APPLE CUSTARD PIE
8-inch unbaked pastry crust
can or jar MUSSELMAN’S Apple Sauce (about 1 lb.)
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 Tabelsp. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 teasp. pumpkin pie spice
few grains salt
Mix together apple sauce, milk, eggs, brown sugar, orange juice concentrate, spice and salt. Pour into pastry crust. Bake in 350 oven 1 hour 15 minutes or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean. Serve warm.

Lime Chiffon Pie
Mix 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt in saucepan. Add 1 cup water and 1/3 cup lime juice; blend in 2 slightly beaten egg yolks. Cook and stir over medium heat to dissolve gelatin. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lime rind; chill until slightly thickened. Beat 2 egg whites until foamy; beat in 1/4 cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Blend in gelatin mixture, 1 cup prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping and 3 drop green food coloring. Chill until mixture mounds. Spoon into cooled baked 9-inch graham cracker crumb crust. Chill 4 hours; garnish.

Whipped Yogurt Topping
Prepare 1 envelope DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix as directed on package. Turn mixer speed to low; blend in 1 container (8 oz.) peach- or other fruit-flavored yogurt. Serve as topping over fresh, drained canned or frozen fruit, or plain cake. Makes 2 1/2 cups topping.

Prepare 1 envelope DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix as directed on package; set aside. Prepare 1 package (10 1/2 oz.) JELL-O Brand Cheesecake as directed on package, blending 1 cup of the prepared whipped topping into the filling after beating. Pour into crust. Chill at least 1 hour. Just before serving, garnish with remaining whipped topping and fresh or canned sliced peaches. Store in refrigerator.

Drain 1 can (16 oz.) sliced peaches, reserving syrup. Set aside 5 slices for garnish; dice remaining peaches. Add water to syrup to make 2 cups; combine with 1 package (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Vanilla Flavor Pudding and Pie Filling and 1 package (3 oz.) JELL-O Brand Peach Flavor Gelatin in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Pour into bowl; chill well. Blend in 2 cups prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping. Fold in diced peaches. Spoon into cooled baked 9-inch pie shell; chill 2 hours. Garnish.

Peach-Glazed Cheesecake
Dissolve 1 package (3 oz.) JELL-O Brand Peach Flavor Gelatin in 1 cup boiling water; add 3/4 cup cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Drain 1 can (8 3/4 oz.) sliced peaches. Prepare crust for 2 packages JELL-O Brand Cheesecake as directed, pressing crumb mixture on bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Prepare filling mixes with 3 cups milk as directed, beating 3 minutes. Fold in 2 cups prepared DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping; spoon into pan. Arrange peach slices on filling and top at once with thickened gelatin; chill 1 hour. Garnish.

Prepare 1 envelope DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix as directed on package; set aside. Sprinkle 1/2 cup diced strawberries with 1 teaspoon sugar; set aside. Prepare 1 package (10 1/2 oz.) JELL-O Brand Cheesecake as directed on package, blending 1 cup of the prepared whipped topping and the strawberries into the filling after beating. Pour into crust. Chill at least 1 hour. Just before serving, garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional strawberries.

MAGIC LEMON MERINGUE PIE
Makes an 8-inch pie or 5 to 6 servings.
FILLING
1 crumb or baked pastry 8-inch pie shell, cooled
1 1/3 cups (15-oz. can) Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh, reconstituted or frozen)
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel (fresh or dried)
2 egg yolks
In medium-sized mixing bowl blend together Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk, lemon juice, lemon peel and yolks until thickened. Turn into pie shell.
MERINGUE
2 egg whites (at room temperature)
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 cup sugar
In small-sized mixing bowl whip whites with cream of tartar until they hold a soft peak. Gradually whip in sugar; continue to whip just until whites hold firm peaks. Pile onto pie filling and seal to inside edge of pie shell. Bake in 325° F. (slow) oven until top is golden brown, about 15 minutes. Cool.
