1 c. b. sugar
1 c. w. ”
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp C of tartar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. nuts
4 c. flour
1 tsp cinn. if desired
May add grated orange rind & dissolve soda in 5 tbsp orange juice to change flavor.
