I am trying to find a recipe by the same name except they were drop cookies that were frosted instead of bars. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

More festive with sprinkles and cut into diamonds( one way straight, one way slant cut). We skip the coffee in my family. The only cookie we still make at Christmas in my house. My adult son is the 3rd generation baker of this classic.

These are delicious! Even the Dairy/gluten I free version that I made for my sister, got rave reviews.
I have been trying to find this recipe since Mom’s 1940’s handwritten copy from my grandmother had disappeared from her Kitchen Secrets recipe journal. She made this regularly for us in the 50’s and 60’s.
