This vintage recipe was written on the back of a General Motors Inspection ticket, date unknown. One of the ingredients is listed as “Holly pineapple pop”, I don’t know what that is–anyone familiar with it? Recipe is typed below along with a scanned copy.
Punch
1 qt. orange sherbet
1 qt. Holly pineapple pop
1 qt. gingerale
Blend all three together in blender.

Holly Pineapple Pop was a pineapple flavored soda. Just replace with pineapple syrup and club soda. I think it was very sweet. There is a soda that you could use but I have only seen it in Mexican stores or in Hawaii.

I believe Holly pop is Holly brand soda, made by the former Holly Beverage Company in Youngstown, Ohio.
