Handwritten recipe card found in an old box of recipes from a lot sale. Mayonnaise is spelled Mayannise. Recipe is typed as-is.
Mayannise Cake
350°
25 – 30 mins
1 c warm water
1 c mayannise
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 c sugar
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cocoa
Sift dry ing and set aside
Mix water mayannise & vanilla in bowl then add dry ing.
Icing
1 egg white
1 teasp. oleo
vanilla
Pow. sugar
