Hot Cider Syrup
In a small saucepan combine 3/4 cup apple cider; 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed; 1/2 cup light corn syrup; 2 tablespoons butter, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice and 1/8 teaspoon each cinnamon and nutmeg. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered, for 15 mins. or until syrupy. Serve warm. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
