Corn Cakes (Pancakes)
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1 egg, well beaten
2 tablespoon melted butter
Sweet milk
Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
Add cornmeal and blend.
Add egg, butter and enough milk to make a thin batter.
Bake on hot well-greased griddle.
