Recipe Clipping For Coconut Pecan Pumpkin Cookies

Coconut-Pecan-Pumpkin Cookies

1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 cup pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon soda
ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix shortening, egg and pumpkin; add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and water. Stir in pecans and coconut. Drop by spoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° about 10 minutes.
