This handwritten recipe card was found in a large collection, date unknown. I’ve typed it below along with a scanned copy.
Sweet Sour Asparagus
1 can or 2 1/2 c. fresh cooked asparagus
Place 2 T cooking oil in skillet & heat and then add
2 T. flour
1 T. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/8 tsp cinnamon
Add asparagus – cover & simmer 5 min. & serve.
