SAVORY COOKING SAUCE
1 can (15 oz.) DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup DEL MONTE Chili Sauce
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 clove garlic, crushed
Dash pepper
Combine ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Use for chicken, pork, beef or pasta.
Approximately 2 1/2 cups.
