This recipe was clipped from a newspaper and found in a large collection, date unknown. I’ve typed it below along with a scanned copy.
Oatmeal Pie (Mock Pecan)
Mix:
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick oleo, melted
Then, add:
3/4 cup oatmeal, either kind
1/2 cup coconut
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
