This recipe was written on a lined index card and found in a large collection, date unknown. I’ve typed it below along with a scanned copy.
Chocolate Pie
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
pinch salt
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
lump of butter
Cook, pour in baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
