Butter Cream Icing

1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. confectioner’s sugar
1 tbsp milk

  1. Melt butter, add milk, sugar, vanilla; Beat well; spread on cake.

Variations: One square unsweetened chocolate may be added.
