This comes from a recipe sheet of some kind and was found in a large collection, date unknown. Recipe is typed below along with a scanned copy.
BARBECUE TOMATO ASPIC
1 pkg. lemon or orange flavored gelatin
1 1/4 c boiling water
1-7 oz. can tomato sauce
2 T vinegar
1/2 t salt
Dash of pepper
1 T horseradish
Crisp greens
Mayonnaise
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly.
- Pour into one mold or individual molds. Chill until firm.
- Unmold and garnish with crisp greens and mayonnaise.
