How to create
4 new French Dressings with
this Good Seasons Mix

The Basic Old Fashion French Dressing

Fine herbs and pungent spices subtly blended in the continental manner. It’s so simple to make in the Good Seasons cruet. You just combine vinegar, a little water and your favorite oil with the Mix. (Easy directions on the Good Seasons envelope.) Do keep an extra cruet handy–this zesty French dressing inspires endless variations.

I grew up on this salad dressing, love it. They discontinued this dressing years ago but GIANT Foods made it and i would get it in NJ or MD but they have since discontinued it as well. I just used my last packet and had to come up with a similar version based on ingredients on back of package.so here’s the closest I have come. My daughter also grew up on this stuff she is 16 and she thinks this is pretty good. dry ingred. 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp dry mustard, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/8 tsp horseradish(I dehydrated some horseradish and ground it, you could proabably leave it out), 1/4 tsp celery seed, 1/8 tsp msg, 1/8 tsp parsley. 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup oil, shake well.

Cindy is RIGHT ON TARGET with her recipe! I made this tonight. I omitted MSG (headaches) and increased celery salt to 1/2 tsp – Penzey’s spices has dried horseradish and I had that on hand. I am going to be making batches and sending to my relatives that also loved this stuff. My son is 23 and said that it tasted as he remembered. My mom is diabetic and going to use Splenda to replace the sugar. THANK YOU CINDY!
